Last week I took advantage of an incredible sale going on over at J. Crew’s Factory site. The already discounted items were an extra 30% off, so I couldn’t pass up a picking up a few basics. And since the J. Crew distribution center is just an hour or so away in Virginia, I love that I get my clothes just a day or two after I hit ‘Submit Order’!
I got this black Mohair 3/4 cardigan for only $13! A few shoppers said the sweater was super itchy, so I was nervous to buy it at all since it was Final Sale. But I actually think the sweater is super comfy! And I’ve already worn it twice. That’s what I love about sweaters like these, they’re so versatile.
I also have a thing for bright, floral, skirts, so I was happy to steal this skirt for only $24. I definitely can’t wear it for a few more months, but I can already see myself slipping it on this summer for brunch, grabbing drinks with friends, or date night.
And last, I got this basic white button down with a silver embellished collar detailing. There are probably 150 ways I can wear this shirt, it’s such a classic. It was only $13, it was like they were paying me to take it from them!
Overall, I think it was a good deal. I got two basics and a statement skirt for spring/summer. There is just something about J. Crew clothing that is so classic and timeless. Too bad my paycheck doesn’t allow me to pay for the newer arrivals at full-price more often. To keep up to date with all of the current discounts and offers, I read J. Crew Aficionada. It’s the best place for finding out about the new lines coming out and savings. They even use the comments section on her blog to swap J. Crew clothing. Nuts.
Last spring I was feeling the urge to shop. And being on a college student budget, I turned to eBay. I found this awesome J. Crew golden cotton skirt for only $12. It’s been a staple in my closet season after season.
Not me in the skirt. Thanks to Google I found the same one on Bonjour it’s Jinah!
And that, my friends, is my weekly obsession with online shopping on J. Crew. I go to J. Crew’s site so often, so expect much more like this.
